On November 1, the Qostanai Idea Battle took place! An event that has gained popularity among Kostanay startups in a short time. It became an important step in the development of the ecosystem of startups in the region, providing opportunities for young and ambitious entrepreneurs to promote their ideas, as well as receive support for the implementation of their projects. 31 startup projects applied for participation, 19 projects were selected before the final pitch, which competed for 1,000,000 tenge.

1st place: 500,000 tenge

TQ-Drone startup solves the problem of deforestation (deforestation). They assembled a drone capable of "scattering" seeds, and also developed a special shell enveloping them. The capsule provides the seeds with the initial nutrients for germination. The innovation of the project lies in the fact that the drone allows you to replace manual labor, reducing the cost and time for planting and caring for trees. In addition, the drone does not leave a carbon footprint.

2nd place: 300,000 tenge

Nomadic is a mobile game that helps you delve into the nomadic national code and learn more about the history.The younger generation wants to study history in a game format and gamification methods are gradually being introduced into the field of education, but this is mainly done for primary and secondary school students. Students of grades 10-11 and university students, most often, study history from textbooks and because of this they cannot concentrate and remember better.The essence of the solution is to create a mobile game suitable for this age group, which will tell about history, traditions and culture in an interactive format.

3rd place: 200,000 tenge

DreamToy is a startup engaged in the creation of stuffing for toys from recycled cigarette filters. Purified and safe materials are transformed into a soft filler, which allows you to reduce waste and create unique, environmentally friendly, more affordable toys.

The main goal of Qostanai Idea Battle is to create a unique platform for sharing experiences, finding investments and developing entrepreneurial thinking among participants. This startup battle serves as a place to present innovative projects that can change the market, and also provides participants with access to resources that will help them implement their ideas. Kostanay, like other cities in Kazakhstan, is actively developing its startup ecosystem. Holding such events contributes to the development of entrepreneurial spirit and innovative solutions. Startups from the region get a chance to make themselves known to a wider audience, and participation in the battle provides an opportunity for not only local, but also international growth.
