Stability finally released the 8B model, which was teased back in February. It comes in two versions - regular and Turbo (which only needs 4 steps). They also promise to deliver the updated Medium, but only on October 29, a week later.

In terms of quality, the complete model, according to Stability statements, is between FLUX.1 dev and schnell. Turbo is slightly worse than schnell. Both are far from FLUX.1 Pro. But they boast that SD 3.5 is the best at understanding promptov.

Community licenses are available - that is, if you have annual revenue of up to a million dollars, you do not need to pay anything. But if there is more, they will ask you to fork out for an enterprise license.

After the fiasco with Medium 3.0 (which was a mistake), I am wary of the release.

I don't expect Stability to ever be able to release a new SOTA, since all the main SD authors have left.
