QazInnovations National Innovation Development Agency JSC (Company) is a national development institution in the field of innovative development and provides measures of state financial gratuitous support in the form of innovative grants for the commercialization of technologies.

We remind you that as part of stimulating innovative development and supporting start-up companies, the Company is holding a competition for obtaining an innovative technology commercialization grant, which is aimed at supporting projects at the 1st stage “Product development and development of a commercialization strategy, including investment attraction” is up to 20,000,000 tenge and covers up to 90% of the following costs:

1) the salary of the project team members (including taxes, fees and other mandatory related payments), which is not more than 30 (thirty) percent of the amount of stage funds or not more than 6,000,000 (six million) tenge;

2) payment for other works and (or) services performed by third parties and (or) co-executors, including those related to the provision of equipment rental;

3) travel expenses (including foreign ones), amounting to no more than 10 (ten) percent of the amount of stage funds or no more than 2,000,000 (two million) tenge;

4) rent of office space, including for product development;

5) purchase of materials, components and equipment necessary for the creation (improvement) of a product or service for the purpose of approbation and test sales.

Grant recipients who have successfully passed the 1st stage have the opportunity to participate in the competition for the 2nd stage "Start of production (implementation and maintenance) of the product and its implementation (commercialization) on the market" is not more than 80,000,000 (eighty million) tenge and covers up to 90 (ninety) percent from the following items of reasonable costs:

1) the salary of project team members, including taxes, fees and other mandatory related payments, amounting to no more than 30 (thirty) percent of the stage funds or no more than 24,000,000 (twenty four million) tenge;

2) payment for other works and (or) services performed by third parties and (or) co-executors, including those related to the provision of equipment rental;

3) travel expenses (including foreign ones), amounting to no more than 10 (ten) percent of the amount of stage funds or no more than 8,000,000 (eight million) tenge;

4) acquisition of licenses, equipment necessary to create a product or service;

5) purchase of materials and components necessary to create a product or service;

6) rent of office and (or) industrial premises;

7) marketing expenses (purchase of services to promote a product or service) amounting to no more than 10 (ten) percent of the amount of stage funds.

To participate in the 1st stage of the competition, it is enough to fill out documents on the portal containing a brief description, presentation, and business structure for your project.

In connection with the extension of the deadline for accepting applications until 18.00 on September 20, 2022, as part of the proactive work to promote innovative grants, we invite graduates of accelerators and incubators to actively participate in the Competition and apply for an innovative grant.
