International Programming Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest

💻 The International Programming Olympiad "Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest 2024" will take place on May 25.

IT company DataArt, with the support of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences at Nazarbayev University, invites everyone to participate in the International Programming Olympiad "Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest 2024," which will be held on May 25 at 15:00 offline in the cities of Almaty, Astana, and Karaganda. Online participation is also available from any city. Participation is free – you just need to register (https://proggy-buggy.com/register/).

You can participate only individually, including school students, university students, developers, testers, and programming enthusiasts. The deadline for registration is May 23, 2024. After registration, training tasks will be available.

During the Olympiad, participants must solve 13 algorithmic problems within 42 minutes. The solution is a console application, and its source code needs to be submitted to the server. The available programming languages include C, C++, Free Pascal, Java, Mono C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, and JavaScript. The official language of the Olympiad is English.

Over the 10 years of the Olympiad's existence, more than 10,000 people from 60 countries have participated. Participants from Kazakhstan consistently achieve prize-winning positions each year.

Winners are expected in each participant category, along with special awards for those who solve problems the fastest and emerge as the best in each country, among other recognitions. Additionally, participants can join a coffee break after the Olympiad for informal networking and discussion of the tasks.
