Senior/Lead React Native Software Engineer
Brief description of the vacancy
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior/Lead React Native Engineer with a passion for innovation and excellence.
Our team follows the latest DevOps methodologies and practices for testing and deploying solutions, using state-of-the-art technologies such as Jenkins, Selenium, Appium and SonarQube.
As the Senior/Lead React Native Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and maintaining mobile applications using these technologies. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful mobile solutions that meet the highest standards for performance, quality and responsiveness.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with existing client and vendor’s team (US, Ireland, Poland)
- Communicate daily with the customer and vendors
- Work closely with the scrum team to deliver features
- Lead technical excellence as a Lead Engineer, mentor the team and contribute to React Native development
- Own the technical solution and serve as the team’s go-to for development and technical queries
- Work with Senior Engineers to ensure team’s high-quality work. Enable code and test reviews, pair programming and ensure quality with every commit. Collaborate with senior management to improve processes and technology
- Work with Project Management and Product Management teams on release planning
- Provide technical insights on relevant emerging technologies (e.g. pair programming, test automation, lunch and learns, conferences, tech design sessions etc.)
What You Have
- 3+ years of experience with React Native (React Navigation, React Native view layer, Redux, React Native Firebase for push notifications & crash reporting)
- Background in developing iOS and Android mobile applications
- Understanding of design patterns and concepts used in mobile development
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Diligent work ethic and a strong sense of accountability towards achieving the final result
- Ability to work under pressure of time/client expectations
- Upper-Intermediate and higher English level (both spoken and written)
- Skills to effectively lead teams or projects, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and guide others
