Brief description of the vacancy

TEACHER TRAINER

Astana Hub supported by UNICEF Kazakhstan announces the search for trainers for training of primary and secondary school teachers in delivery of inclusive blended learning.

Required work experience: 1-3 years

Project work / one-time assignment, remote work

Temporary registration is possible: service agreement, contract, Civil Agreement, self-employed, individual entrepreneur

 

Responsibilities:

  • Passing preliminary online training conducted by educational experts in an online course;
  • Completing of pre and post-course assessment forms while preliminary online course;
  • Providing recommendations and participating in the finalization of the content of the online course (the effectiveness of tools, approaches, regulations, time frames, etc.);
  • Online training on the materials of the completed online course;
  • Completing of pre and post-course assessment forms while completed final online course; 
  • Participation in drawing up and approval of training schedules for teachers;
  • Participation in the preparation and approval of teacher training plan;
  • Conducting online training for teachers in accordance with the approved schedules (adherence to the training plan and schedule);
  • Analysis of pre and post-course assessment forms completed by teachers;
  • Providing feedback to teachers and methodological support of trained teachers;
  • Preparation and submission of a report on the results of teacher training (monthly). 

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing / adapting curricula and courses;
  • Experience in online educational activities, including teaching of people with special learning needs;
  • Experience in social projects, including with vulnerable population  groups;
  • 1-3 years of experience in teaching in educational institutions is an advantage;
  • experience in teaching of training courses on inclusive education, child and special education is an advantage;
  • experience as a field instructor for inclusive children's work is an advantage;
  • experience in conducting presentations, webinars, participating in conferences as a speaker, public speaking;
  • Active user of educational innovative technologies;
  • Advanced user of instant messengers and social networks.
