About Binance Accelerator Program Binance Accelerator Program is a concise 3 - 6 months program designed to have an immersive experience in the rapidly expanding Web3 space. You will be given the opportunity to experience life at Binance and understand what goes on behind the scenes of the worlds’ leading blockchain ecosystem. Alongside your job, there will also be a focus on networking and development, which will expand your professional network and build transferable skills to propel you forward in your career.

Basic requirements (education, skills)

• Undergraduate in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences
• Relevant work experience in an Analytics or Data Science role will be a plus
• Experience with common analysis tools such as SQL, R, and Python
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.)
• A self-driven team player with the ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques such as proprietary analytical software, data models and programming languages
• A natural curiosity to identify, investigate and explain trends and patterns in data and an ability to analyse and break down complex concepts and technical findings into clear and simple language for communication
• A passion for Emerging Technologies related to Blockchain, Machine Learning and AI
• (Good to have) Experience and understanding of Blockchain concepts and mechanics (Defi, NFT, Metaverse, etc..)

What to do (functional responsibilities)

• Work across all aspects of data from engineering to building sophisticated visualisations, machine learning models and experiments
• Analyze and interpret large (PB-scale) volumes of transactional, operational and customer data using proprietary and open source data tools, platforms and analytical tool kits
• Translate complex findings into simple visualisations and recommendations for execution by operational teams and executives

Knowledge of the principles of building REST architecture, features of synchronous and asynchronous contracts, design and development patterns;

Ability to work with SQL, HTTP, WebAPI, REST/SOAP, jwt/oauth 2.0, Mobile Push, understanding indexes, restrictions, normalization

Ability to build UML diagrams and describe documentation in OpenAPI format;

Knowledge of process modeling notations (BPMN, UML)

Competently expresses his thoughts, including in writing

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle;

Knowledge of the development of project documentation (description of the project concept, TOR, STPO, statements for developers, PMI, instructions for RP/RA users);

Ability to collect, analyze and formalize functional requirements based on business requirements;

Have experience in interacting with development and testing teams, in finding technical solutions and in consulting on tasks.

What to do (functional responsibilities):

• Participate in the development of client-server solutions for mobile platforms;
• Create and troubleshoot the code, participate in designing solution architecture;
• Research new technologies, platforms and development tools;
• Be a part of a highly skilled and creative development team.

What we expect from the candidate:

• At least 5 years of experience in developing mobile applications using Kotlin and Java, Android SDK;
• Experience writing auto tests;
• Ability to solve problems independently, without constant mentoring;
• Knowledge of the features of various versions of Android;
• Experience in developing client-server applications;
• Understanding the principles of building multi-threaded applications;
• Understanding the major patterns of mobile applications design (MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI);
• Experience with git and gitflow, gradle understanding;
• Experience with Realm, SQLite Databases;
• Android Architecture components.

• умение конструировать SQL запросы, понимание того, как работают джойны, индексы и ключи;
• знание принципов и опыт работы с системами контроля версий (GIT);
• Опыт работы с Elasticsearch или Solr (будет плюсом).

Brief Description

Responsibilities

• Data organization and analysis: handling structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and image-based data.
• Building data systems and pipelines
• Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
• Designing end-to-end pipelines within a hybrid big data architecture, using Cloud Native AWS, Python, SQL, etc.
• Leveraging AWS Cloud services for building data pipelines and ensuring effective monitoring
• Collaborating with data scientists and architects across various projects

Requirements 

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience utilizing designated technologies and tools.
• Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, boto3), SQL, Spark, Databricks, DWH
• Proficient use of orchestrators such as Airflow
• Expertise with AWS services essential for Data Engineering: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, Redshift, Athena, SQS, SNS, etc.
• Ability to write robust code with Python.
• Deep understanding of pub-sub architecture
• Strong upper-intermediate or higher (B2+) proficiency in English
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS Dynamo DB, Aurora (including serverless nuances), Elasticache, Kinesis services, Neptune
• Familiarity with AWS Networking
• Familiarity with Azure 
• Experience with Snowflake
