This is a free hands-on workshop for those who work with VMware and decide what to do next.

It will be held in Astana on August 24, 2026 from 14:00 to 18:30

In one day, participants manually transfer a real virtual machine from a running VMware server to Cozystack, an open virtualization platform that is being developed by the CNCF foundation.

Most of the time is spent practicing in a personal work environment: machine migration, database, monitoring, backup.

Leads Timur Tukaev is the maintainer of Cozystack and the co—founder of Aenix.

After the workshop, each participant has a test environment for 30 days, a chat with the maintainers of the platform, home laboratory work and the opportunity to receive a Cozystack Certified Fundamentals certificate.

Participation is free upon registration; the number of seats is limited.
