50 out of 250: AI'preneurs program finalists have begun training in startup project development

The participants for the AI'preneurs acceleration program have been finalized. Out of over 250 applications reviewed by the commission, 100 advanced to the diagnostic stage, and 50 talents were ultimately chosen for the program. These finalists have now embarked on a four-month acceleration journey.

AI'preneurs aims to bring together talented specialists to form teams and develop innovative startups in the field of artificial intelligence.

The 50 selected finalists include experts in the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, such as senior engineers, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and research engineers. These individuals have extensive experience working in leading tech companies, startups, and research institutions.

"The finalists, who were selected through a highly competitive process, have now begun the first stage of the program. Their initial task is to find partners and form teams. We will organize various workshops on team building and startup creation, along with other events that will allow each participant to showcase their strengths," said Yerbol Akhmetov, Director of the Astana Hub Business Programs Office.

The AI'preneurs acceleration program consists of three key stages: team building, interaction with the investment committee, and product creation. In the first stage, participants establish partnerships and form teams. During the second stage, these teams work on developing their startup concepts, create product prototypes, and present them to the investment committee. If their projects are approved, they receive funding to proceed to the next stage. Participants who are unable to find partners or whose projects do not gain approval either exit the program or join other teams. In the final stage, the selected startups focus on the full-scale development of their products.

One of the participants, Zhanbolat Kayrgozhin, is the founder of an online service for autism correction in children, which has helped children in over 15 countries, including in Europe. Over four years, the platform has supported hundreds of children and continues to expand. Zhanbolat aims to create a Medtech platform integrated with artificial intelligence to monitor the quality of correctional work and diagnose children with autism spectrum disorders.

"As part of the program, I plan to develop a platform that uses AI to improve the monitoring and diagnosis of autism in children. I believe that if you create value that far exceeds its cost, you can build something long-lasting and impactful. As a father, I understand that children's health is priceless," Zhanbolat shared.

Throughout the AI'preneurs program, participants will benefit from individual mentoring sessions, entrepreneurial skills training, and consultations on technical and business matters. Teams will also have access to the Astana Hub infrastructure.

Those who successfully complete all stages of the program will have the opportunity to present their innovative startup projects to potential investors and secure funding for implementation.
