Astana Hub invites the local IT community to collaborate with Gaza Sky Geeks.

Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is an aid programme in Palestine that teaches young Palestinians IT skills to earn an income online. Since its establishment in 2011, GSG has trained almost 50,000 Palestinians.

Currently, the program employs approximately 50 staff members and offers classes both in Gaza and the West Bank, operating three technological hubs. In 2022, GSG provided training to 5,000 Palestinians in various valuable skills, including Python, React, UI/UX, AWS Cloud Computing, Data Science, and Analytics.

In September of last year, GSG Director Alan El-Kadhi participated in the Digital Bridge forum, where he presented the company's programs, proposals, and services. Inspired by the growth and investments being made in the Kazakhstan tech-ecosystem, Gaza Sky Geeks has set up an office in Astana Hub to promote Palestinian tech talent to Kazakhstan tech companies to seek out partnerships and means of collaboration between Palestinian tech-talent and Kazakhstani startups and tech-services companies.

In this regard, Astana Hub invites the local IT community to support Gaza Sky Geeks by outsourcing various types of services.

Through collaboration with GSG, the tech ecosystem of Central Asia gains a unique opportunity to attract top-notch professionals from Palestine, fostering mutual growth in innovative ecosystems.
