“We want to help startups make a name for themselves through partnerships with the fastest-growing video platform, TikTok. Participants of the TikTok Startup Valley competition will have a chance to talk about their project in short videos, win valuable prizes from Astana Hub, and most importantly, attract the interest of potential users, investors and partners,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.

Under the terms of the competition, participants must publish at least 36 videos, which must be at least 1 minute, on TikTok for the entire period - within three months, talk about their project with a creative submission and put the hashtag #ТикТокИнкубатор. Also, in every 5th video, mark the account @astana_hub. 

“As an innovative company, we want to support young technology businesses, and it is logical that for this purpose, we have joined forces with Astana Hub, the largest technopark of IT Startups in Kazakhstan and Central Asia,” said Anastasia Panina, CEO of Global Business Solutions, TikTok in Eastern Europe.

According to the selection criteria, participants in the TikTok Startup Valley competition can be adult citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan or persons with residence permits in the Republic of Kazakhstan. For each view under the video, the competition participant will receive 1 point; the greater the total number of views, the more points. By the number of points scored for the total number of views and the creativity of the videos, 3 winners will be determined who have fulfilled all the conditions of the competition.

The 1st place winner - the author of the brightest and most creative project, which Astana Hub experts will choose- will get a unique opportunity to work under the mentorship of an IT expert from Central Asia and a MacBook. Also, the participants who took second and third places will receive valuable prizes - an iPhone and Apple Watch.
