The Central Eurasian Venture Forum 2024 kicked off in Almaty

Today the official opening of the Central Eurasian Venture Forum 2024 took place in Almaty city. The event was attended by top executives and founders of IT companies, venture funds, startups, and many other technological companies.


This forum is an event that has brought together leading players in the field of venture investments, startups, and innovations from across the Central Eurasian region and beyond.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev. In his speech, he noted that one of the priority directions of the ministry's strategy is the development of the venture market and the innovation ecosystem.

The Minister mentioned that Kazakhstan has its own developments that have attracted venture capital from Silicon Valley. This happened thanks to accelerators, venture funds, and programs offered to startups by Astana Hub and other companies.
