Eurasian Space Ventures and Astana Hub have agreed to jointly develop ICT startups in the aerospace industry

The private company Eurasian Space Ventures and the international technopark of IT startups Astana Hub will jointly develop and stimulate the creation of ICT projects for the aerospace industry of Kazakhstan. The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the agreement, ESV and Astana Hub plan to organize joint events for the development and presentation of the potential of Kazakhstani and foreign IT companies and startups in the aerospace sector. In addition, the parties planned to launch the SpaceTech accelerator ESV Hub.

"Kazakhstan has great potential for effective commercial development of the space industry, primarily due to infrastructure, design, and production capabilities of satellites and spacecraft. Therefore, we see various options for cooperation with the Astana Hub Technopark, where startups and IT companies are consolidating. We count on the acceleration of breakthrough projects and strong teams capable of contributing to the development of the aerospace industry. At the same time, we intend to jointly increase the interest and enthusiasm of the younger generation in space technology and technologies," said ESV founder Shukhrat Ibragimov.

In turn, Astana Hub, where more than 800 participants are registered today, expressed readiness to exchange ideas for joint development of space projects, and attract talented youth to the development of this sphere.

"Now the Technopark is the most attractive IT hub in Central Asia. The revenues of our participants for 2021 amounted to 166 billion tenge. Innovative ideas and projects are constantly flocking to us, and we accompany them and help in the implementation. I am sure that our startups and IT companies will be able to become an impetus for the further development of the aerospace industry in Kazakhstan," said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.

It should be noted that Eurasian Space Ventures is the first Kazakh private space company that has implemented the launch into space of two unique space projects together with SpaceChain, as well as attracting leading global companies and space industry technologies to the country.

Astana Hub is the largest international technopark of IT startups in Central Asia. Here we create conditions for the free development of Kazakhstani and foreign IT companies.
