Half-Year Results: New Online Services, Communications Infrastructure, and AI Developments

Kazakhstan is advancing its digital transformation across various sectors. In the first half of 2024, significant progress was made in digitalization and innovation. Key achievements include a rise in electronic government services, the launch of new digital solutions and platforms, and enhanced international cooperation in technology and aerospace industries.


Entering international tech markets

In collaboration with the World Bank and prominent international organizations like Alchemist and SilkRoad Innovation Hub, support is being provided to Kazakhstan's startups while integrating advanced innovative solutions into various sectors of the country's economy. 

Significant focus is placed on developing artificial intelligence applications in medicine, education, tourism, and the mining and metallurgical industries. Kazakhstan's startups are garnering interest from major American and Asian companies. Over 20 startups are receiving support for international market entry through representative offices in Southeast Asia and Riyadh.

Astana Hub is enhancing its role by partnering with Google Accelerator, which opens new opportunities for regional startups and strengthens Kazakhstan's tech market integration into global innovation ecosystems.
