The primary objective of these grant programs is to foster collaboration between businesses and academia, facilitating the commercialization of innovative solutions, scientific research, and cutting-edge technologies.

Applicants are required to form consortia comprising multiple participants, with the participation of industrial enterprises and research organizations (specific consortium composition requirements vary based on the grant program). Co-financing contributions ranging from 10% to 50% are mandatory, in accordance with the respective grant program guidelines. Successful applicants may receive grants of up to 650 million tenge, with project durations of up to 18 months.

The application deadline for both grant programs has been extended, and submissions will be accepted until 18:00 Astana time on August 1, 2023.
