Tech Orda is a unique program aimed to provide funding for the training of  IT specialists up to 600,000 tenge for each student. 

Last year, with the assistance of the Ministry of Digital Development of Astana Hub, a pilot stream of the program was launched, and 100 students received vouchers to study at 13 IT schools. 

As part of the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to train at least 100,000 qualified IT personnel, it is planned to train 20,000 high-quality specialists in private IT schools under the Tech Orda program by 2025. 

Already this year, about 3,000 applicants throughout Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to study IT specialties. 

On September 29, within the framework of the Digital Bridge 2022 forum, the first 10 students were awarded vouchers with which they will be able to choose from 50 schools accredited under the program from 11 cities in Kazakhstan. 

"Thanks to the Tech Orda program, motivated young people can get a high-quality IT education. All they need is to apply and choose among the best private IT schools. In 2022, IT schools showed great interest in the program. 70 applications were received, from which the best 50 IT schools were selected and accredited, widely represented, including in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, such as Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Semey, Uralsk, Shymkent. 

We hope that the students who have been trained under the program, after training, will make a significant contribution to the development of digital competencies in the country," said First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry Jaslan Madiyev.
