Astana Hub Battle Winners Receive $18,000 at Digital Bridge 2021
On October 29, at the site of the Digital Bridge international forum, the final battle of technology startups Astana Hub Battle took place. 10 young IT companies - OQUDA, UvU, Parqour, Texta.ai, Flowsell.me, Jet Sharing, QFit, Oilan.io, MacDent and Supermoms Club - competed for $10,000 checks to develop their IT product (1 place), $5,000 (2nd place), $3,000 (3rd place).
The winners of Astana Hub Battle 2021 are:
1st place - startup Oquda - the first Market Network platform in the industry of recruiting students to foreign universities. The platform organizes the work of specialists around the world to make foreign education available to one buyer. Co-founder - Beimbet Babiev.
2nd place - startup Parqour - a smart parking system that recognizes 99% of numbers, automatically calculates the cost of parking and allows you to pay via QR_code, or through mobile applications of different banks. Co-founder - Amirkhan Omarov.
3rd place - startup UvU - a mobile application for the safe transportation of children with a smart system of joint trips. Co-founder - Madiyar Toleugali.
The jury of the Astana Hub Battle 2021 finals included:
- Bagdat Musin - Minister of Digital Development, Chairman of the Jury
- Magzhan Madiev — CEO of Astana Hub
- Raim – iClub Almaty
- Oksana Vitaly Kim — Shanyraq VC
- Victor Brant is the managing partner of the venture capital company Startech.vc.
- Talgat Ismailov is an investor, business angel.
The battle of technological startups Astana Hub Battle was traditionally held at the site of the international forum Digital Bridge 2021. The battle is held among IT startups that have a scalable working prototype and a team with at least two key participants. This year, more than 250 applications were accepted for participation in the Astana Hub Battle.
The Digital Bridge 2021 Forum is supported by Kazakhtelecom JSC, BTS Digital, Tengizchevroil and Transtelecom.
