President of Kazakhstan Urges Turkic States to Leverage Astana Hub's Potential

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, participated in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States. During his address, he highlighted the importance of developing communications as a key area of focus.


“Currently, we are working on laying a fiber-optic cable along the bottom of the Caspian Sea. This project will enhance our cooperation and foster the socio-economic growth of the region. Advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and satellite systems, hold great promise for the future. We are placing significant emphasis on training specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. To this end, we plan to establish a network of specialized schools in partnership with leading global companies. We have also established the Astana Hub technology park, which supports tech startups across Central Asia. I encourage you to tap into the potential of this hub,” said President Tokayev.

Furthermore, the President underscored the importance of preserving the unique civilizations and national languages of the Turkic countries. He proposed the development of a “Great Turkic Language Model” utilizing artificial intelligence.
