Тop Managers from Apple, Google, and Microsoft Visit Astana Hub

Astana Hub, the international technopark, welcomed top managers from leading US transnational and technology companies, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Boeing, Bechtel, Baker Hughes, Coca Cola, S&P Global, General Electric, GE Healthcare, EPAM Systems, Coursera, Honeywell, Valmont Irrigation, and others.

The delegation, accompanied by Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Kush Choksi, and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the US, Erzhan Ashikbayev, embarked on a trade mission.

"This is the first visit of a US trade mission to Kazakhstan. It includes more than twenty American companies, many of which are globally renowned. Kazakhstan is one of the most remote markets for the American business community. Therefore, the arrival of these companies in our country demonstrates a specific interest in the Kazakhstani market. As diplomats, we strive to strengthen the ties between the two countries," noted Erzhan Ashikbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the US.

Vice Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Zhambakin, and CEO of Astana Hub, Magzhan Madiyev, provided the guests with insights into Kazakhstan's IT ecosystem and the activities of the technopark.

During the visit, the foreign guests were introduced to the Blockchain Center and the Alem School at Astana Hub. They were impressed by the high potential of the technopark and expressed their interest in future collaborations with companies from Kazakhstan.

"We would like to collaborate with Astana Hub, particularly in the development of the Microsoft Startups ecosystem. It's wonderful that the technopark initiates education that contributes to the development of the IT economy and resources, which aligns with Microsoft's focus," remarked Michelle Simmons, CEO of Microsoft Central Europe.

The delegations were presented with projects from participants of the technopark. Founders of startups such as Voiceloft, Kid Security, Black Ice AI, and Goat Chat addressed the guests.

"We are delighted to welcome industry leaders to Astana Hub. We are already actively engaging with EPAM, Microsoft, and Google for Startups, and we are always open to new opportunities and partnerships. Today, we shared the results of the technopark's activities, collaboration outcomes, and presented our startups – innovative projects that can bring benefits not only to Kazakhstan but also be of interest to other countries," stated Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.

The trade mission was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the US and the US Chamber of Commerce, with the support of Kazakh Invest.

Astana Hub is the largest international technopark in Central Asia, providing conditions for the unrestricted development of Kazakhstani and international technology companies. Currently, the technopark has over a thousand participants, and the residents of Astana Hub have created more than 14,000 jobs.
