Kazakhstan Plans to Train One Million Citizens in AI Over the Next Five Years
In the next five years, Kazakhstan aims to train one million citizens in artificial intelligence (AI), as announced today by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, Zhaslan Madiyev, during a government meeting.
"We have set a goal to train one million people over the next five years. This includes 500,000 schoolchildren, 300,000 university students, 90,000 government employees, 80,000 entrepreneurs and corporate sector representatives, and 30,000 citizens from other sectors, including the social sector. These programs have already been piloted. For each of these categories, we have developed appropriate educational products and initiatives, which have been tested, and the training will be available both online and offline," he noted.
