On February 7, 2024, Disney announced a major collaboration with the game publisher Epic Games.

The collaboration between Epic Games and Disney in the form of a financial injection into Epic Games in the amount of one and a half billion dollars promises exciting prospects. The partners aim to create an innovative and epic unification of the worlds of Disney and Fortnite in the form of a "new changing universe of games and entertainment." This ambitious project, according to the statements of the parties, promises to bring new and exciting elements to the entertainment industry.  

The new permanent universe, in addition to the unique gaming experience and interaction with Fortnite, will provide users with many opportunities to play, view, shop and interact with content, characters and plots from the world of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar and other popular franchises. Players, gamers and fans will be able to create their own fascinating stories, express their Disney-style fandom and share content with other users according to their preferences. All this will be done using the powerful Unreal Engine.

  I've always dreamed of seeing how Mulan will grind (mine) Ammo in Fortnite! We will most likely find out what will come out of this in the next 2025!
