Introduction

It is time to sum up the results of the Astana Hub Bootcamp 2.0 program, a two—month internship at the largest technology park in Kazakhstan. Even before the start of the second month, we organized an event in the speed dating format, where interns were able to communicate with representatives of startups. It was there that I got the opportunity to do an internship as a developer at Macdent.

Internship

Macdent is a successful startup that creates CRM systems for clinics and dental offices, and every fifth clinic in Kazakhstan already uses their product. I was incredibly excited to try myself as a developer. However, I ran into difficulties: the technology stack in Macdent turned out to be different, which required me to recall my experience from Python to Go. Using all my experience, I managed to develop the module assigned to me.

A Grand Graduation

After completing the two—month internship, the final chord awaited us - a large-scale graduation event, as it always happens in Astana Hub. I was surprised by the number of people who gathered for the event, and it made the atmosphere even more exciting. We all had to make a presentation to the public about the results of our internship. It was an unforgettable moment: the tension and joy of being able to share my achievements with such an audience.

Four of the nine interns received offers from the hub's resident companies, and each of us received certificates and souvenirs.

Conclusion

These two months of internship have become a period of professional growth and discovery for me. I would like to express my gratitude to Astana Hub and Macdent for the opportunities provided. The internship allowed me not only to strengthen my technical skills, but also to test myself in a new environment for me. Now I feel confident in both development and project management, and I'm looking forward to new professional challenges.
