My name is Kamil Tashmetov, an IT analyst at Eurotrans Group. My job is to digitally transform the railway transport and logistics business. Logistics and IT go side by side together, helping to create solutions that make processes faster, more transparent, and more efficient.

Digitalization of logistics

Eurotrans The Group is a transport and logistics company that actively uses IT to increase productivity and efficiency. One of the key projects was the creation of its own 1C: Terminal program, which takes into account the specifics of the company's activities.

The program was developed specifically to optimize the company's work in order to effectively solve the tasks of the transshipment terminal and take into account the specifics of internal business processes. This made it possible not only to fine-tune the system to meet specific requirements, but also to significantly increase operational efficiency, improve process control and speed up data processing, which ultimately contributes to increased productivity and lower costs.

The program improves the operation of the transshipment terminal at the station Dostyk (Friendship), providing:

• Manage the arrival of containers and wide and narrow gauge wagons.
• Automate accounting and billing bills for services.
• Reduce data processing time and speed up operational processes.
• Keep payroll records employees and integrate with 1C:Accounting department.
• Generate reports and provide analytics for decision-making.

This system was created for internal use, which made it possible to adapt it to the specifics of our work.

Working with data and analytics

We also pay special attention to data: its quality, structuring and updating. In two years, we have managed to build the right information architecture, bring the data in line with advanced international standards and significantly improve their processing quality.

A well-developed information infrastructure, including servers for key corporate systems (1C:Enterprise, 1C:The terminal, automated control system, and others), allows the company to effectively manage data, accumulating it for further analysis and operational decision-making. The active use of Business intelligence, tools for data visualization and building dashboards, contributes to more informed and effective solutions.

There is integration between various systems within the company, which allows you to build end-to-end analytics for all business processes. At the moment, we are at the stage of data enrichment to obtain more advanced analytics.

In December 2024, Eurotrans Group was awarded a prestigious award. Magistral Awards in the nomination "Leader of digital Logistics". This diploma is a recognition of our efforts to introduce innovations in the transport and logistics industry.

The goal The purpose of the Magistral Awards is to create a unified transport space within the framework of The EAEU, and the award is given for the most significant projects in the field of transport and logistics integration. The competition is open to operators, experts, public figures, representatives of national companies, relevant associations and business communities that promote innovation and cooperation in the field of transport and logistics in the EAEU and Central Asia.

This year, 17 categories were presented, covering a wide range of destinations, as well as more than 100 participants from leading railway, port and road transport companies in Kazakhstan and Russia., Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and other countries.
