On December 4, students of the Zerek IT school will receive an offline guest lecture by Russell McMahon, professor in the field of cybersecurity at the University of Cincinnati (USA).

This visit is held as part of the UNICEN Cyberlab Cybersecurity lab project, jointly with the American University of Cincinnati and Baishev University. Also, such Kazakhstani universities as SDU, International IT University and Almaty University of energy and communications take part in this project. The purpose of the project: work on the effectiveness of education in cybersecurity, training of specialists with innovative and practical abilities in this direction in Kazakhstan.

From June 12 to 17 of this year, Professor Russell McMahon held lectures and seminars on the topics "Fundamentals of cybersecurity", "Improvisation in teaching cybersecurity", "Data management and data analysis" at Baishev University and the Zerek IT school.
