At Izikom LLP, we have always strived for flexibility, and the transition to Agile and Scrum methodologies was a real breakthrough for us. These approaches have allowed us to reduce product delivery time and increase customer satisfaction.

In our company, we live by the principles of Agile: cooperation with the client, iterative development and willingness to change. For example, when working on a project for an EdTech startup, we regularly discussed interim results with the customer to make sure that the product meets their expectations.

Scrum has become our main Agile implementation tool. We work in two-week sprints. This is what it looks like in practice:

• Planning: Before each sprint, the client and I select priority tasks. For example, for the food delivery app, we first focused on shopping cart and payment.
• Daily meetings: Every morning our team holds a 15-minute stand-up session where we discuss progress. This helps to quickly identify problems, for example, when API integration was delayed due to a third-party service.
• Demo and retrospective: After the sprint, we show the client the finished functionality and discuss what can be improved. Once, a retrospective helped us optimize the testing process by reducing it by 20%.

With the transition to Scrum, we have reduced the time to bring a product to market by 30%. However, it required discipline from us: daily meetings and constant customer feedback can sometimes be intense. But the results are worth it — our clients, from startups to large corporations, value transparency and speed.
