Today, February 6, 2024, Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's Xbox division, intrigued the public with a post on the X network (Twitter) about possible changes in the business policy of the Xbox division.

For the public, this news aroused intense interest, given the rumors circulating on the web about the possible release of Xbox exclusives on other platforms, including eternal rivals in the face of Playstation and Nintendo. In his podcast, Jeff shared insiders that he had heard that some Microsoft managers were considering moving the franchise to Playstation 5. There is also a rumor on the web that Microsoft is currently changing tactics from retail to product digitalization.

Microsoft has grounds for these rumors, given that sales in the Xbox series (With the exception of the One series) are quite deeply depressing for them. Sales of consoles and Game Pass clearly do not take the company on the path that Microsoft planned.

If we look analytically at all these "rumors" and "HYPE", we can definitely say that something "large-scale" is being prepared that will radically change the picture of the market. And most likely, we see all these "leaks" thanks to Microsoft employees who are not satisfied with the planned changes, and this is literally their hope for the community. We will only find out whether this is a "bad" or "Good" decision over time. However, judging by the comment under Spencer's post, people are asking not to do what is rumored to be planned.
