Probably each of you dreamed of having the opportunity to instantly find out the price of your unique jewelry, without resorting to complex calculations or long consultations with jewelers.

The Polygonia project can perfectly help you with this.

What is it good for and how can it be used to calculate the cost of diamonds and paintings?

Polygonia is a mobile application with a built—in AI model that can determine the value of diamonds and paintings based on the calculated number of polygons and polygons.

Tasks

After signing the contract, the customer explained that he sees his product as a mobile application with artificial intelligence integrated into it.

Our goals include:

  • Application interface development
  • Creating an AI model that will highlight the polygons/polygons in diamonds/paintings.

In AI training, to calculate the syngony in a diamond, it includes:

  • Determining the size of a diamond
  • Determination of the number of carats of a diamond
  • Counting the syngonies (their categories) in a diamond
  • Determining the cost of each category separately
  • Calculation of the full value of the diamond, based on the data obtained

In AI training, to determine polygons in the picture, includes:

  • Definition of the author of the picture and the size
  • Counting polygons
  • Definition of polygon categories, and the cost of each, counting the total number
  • Determination of the full cost of the painting, based on the data obtained

Realization

At the moment, we are actively developing a branch of diamonds: we are training an AI model to assess its depth.

To date, a model based on a photograph can determine the relative shapes of objects, which will later be applicable to determine the syngonies and their categories, on which the price of a diamond will depend.

There are three of them in total:

  • the first category is cubic syngony (the most expensive);
  • the second category is triangular (average price);
  • the third category is linear syngony (the lowest price).

After we teach the AI to work with polygons and determine the value of diamonds, on this basis, we will proceed to learning how to work with polygons in order to also be able to determine the value of paintings.
