Kazakhstani schoolchildren became the sixth in the international FPV drone race championship "Games of the future"
The first international multisport FPV drone race tournament "Games of the future" was held in Kazan. It was attended by more than 2,000 cyber athletes from 107 countries, including China, South Korea, France and other countries.
Kazakhstan was represented at the large-scale championship by a team under the symbolic name Aspan (residents of Jaiq Hub) of 6 people, including Timofey Muravyov, a student of gymnasium No. 1 in Karaganda, and Daniyal Kazimov, a student of gymnasium No. 44 in Uralsk.
"Our team's rivals in the drone race were the current world champions from South Korea and Turkey. Drone racing at the Games of the Future was called the unofficial World Championship and the 6th place for our rather young team is a high result, since we performed for the first time. Our team was represented by pilots Vladislav Kaziev and Daniyal Kazimov, reserve pilot Timofey Muravyov, coach Sergey Muravyov, technical director Kaysar Yesengali, - shared the director of the Ashyq aspan foundation Kazybek Batyr.
It is worth noting that a total of 21 disciplines were represented at the tournament. The competitions are divided into five areas: "Sports", "Tactics", "Strategy", "Speed", and "Technology". The total prize fund is $10 million.
