🔰  On May 12, Astana hosted the first AI hackathon among the city's schools "Skillset AI Hackathon 2024", organized by "Skillset Schools” and ”Milestone School". More than 30 teams and 120 participants from the capital's public and private schools took part in the hackathon. Only the top 10 teams qualified for the hackathon finals.

🎯 The purpose of the hackathon was to develop innovative projects based on artificial intelligence (AI) and No Code tools. As part of the hackathon, participants worked on 3 main cases in the field of AI technology application in medicine: “Image AI” - AI assistant for analysis /diagnosis of disease by images, “Audio AI” – AI assistant for analysis / diagnosis of disease by audio sounds and “Pose AI" – AI assistant for assistance in the rehabilitation of patients after surgery.

🎁 All the finalists of the hackathon were awarded educational courses in the areas of “No Code” and “Startup School” from the partners of the hackathon “Astana Hub Education". The winners of the hackathon received certificates for monetary remuneration from the founder of the organizing schools for the further development of their projects.

The winners of the hackathon:

🥇 1st place: 150,000 tenge – Treble team – NIS PhMD Astana

🥈 2nd place: 90,000 tenge – NexusTribe team – Lyceum No.11

🥉 3rd place: 60,000 tenge – PulmoSight team – Miras International School
