The alternative app has been launched to Instagram and 2GIS in Kazakhstan
The founders of the startup project Loca announced the launch of a Kazakh social network.
Loca is an interactive map consisting of experiences (video / photo impressions) of friends, beautiful places and current events in cities and countries.
Usually the choice of leisure is determined by the recommendations of friends and acquaintances, or by locations and comments in 2GIS. And then, as a rule, to find out more about the atmosphere of the institution, pages and stories on Instagram are viewed.
In Loca, through the map and experience carousel, users will be able to see the location and the vibe of places at the same time.
According to the founders of the startup, according to the results of recent research by Google, now netizens prefer to start searching for places from social networks, rather than search services. Therefore, Loca aims to become in the future an aggregator for finding interesting places and events around the world with visualization on the map.
Also, according to the founders, the influence of the emotional economy is now being actively traced, where decisions are made based on emotions. The goal of the startup is not just to entertain users, but to involve them. By sharirng new beautiful places or interesting events. So that through positive emotions, the mood of users is formed and with them here develops business, tourism and the general culture of society.

The project is at the MVP stage and launched in test mode in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Turkestan and Aktau.
In the future, it will be available for all cities of Kazakhstan, as well as go to the countries of Southeast Asia and the UAE.
The project developers believe that in the future, technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and possibly a transition to the metaverse will be introduced into the mobile application.
