Artificial intelligence is radically changing the labor market around the world. Some professions are disappearing, others — those that did not exist yesterday — are appearing. Which side will you be on?

Shymkent Hub will host AI Career Day, a meeting dedicated to career opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence.

What are we going to talk about:

Which AI professions are currently in demand in the market - from industrial engineers to AI producers and data analysts. What skills do the specialists of the future need — both technical and soft skills. How to build a career in the age of AI — where to start, what to study, how to compete. Which industries are most actively looking for AI specialists - from technology to marketing, medicine and education.

The expert will share his experience:

Real examples, market analysis, and practical advice are not theory, but the real picture.

For whom:

Students who choose a career path. Professionals who want to move into a new field. For those who want to work with AI, but don't know where to start. Parents who are thinking about their children's future.

Workshop. At the AI and Figma workshop, you will learn how to create professional posters using a powerful combination of artificial intelligence and modern design tools. During the training, you will master the generation of unique visuals, font compositions and layouts using AI.

The use of AI is revealed honestly, in layers. In parallel, there is an intensive "GenAI GameDev in 12 days". The goal is a prototype: the build is available until October 1.
General sponsors, organizers, and juries of Mytona and Creata Games.

Top-10 projects will be pitched offline on AI & Digital Bridge on October 3, and Top-20 are undergoing a two-month Creata Games acceleration.

2nd place - 200,000 tenge
3rd place - 100,000 tenge

Criteria:

1. Generative AI is required in at least two of the four layers: code · 2D/3D graphics · audio· video and narrative. For each layer, the team reveals what the AI has done, with what tool, and in what proportion. Undisclosed use of AI is grounds for disqualification.
2. The team submits a playable web game without installation; a raw gameplay video of up to 60 seconds (not a trailer); an AI disclosure sheet; a PDF presentation for pitching - up to 7 slides; a link to a repository with a commit history. Everything is submitted via a Google form.
3. Free theme- The game is created during the jam; ready-made engines, frameworks and libraries are allowed
4. Weights: gameplay — 30%, theme and integrity — 20%, AI pipeline and honesty of disclosure — 20%, art and audio — 15%, release potential — 15%.

The game and all its parts remain with the authors. The organizer has the right to show games, videos and team materials in the announcements and results of the jam, indicating the authors. The finalists undergo a publishing review of Creata Games; publication is possible only under a separate agreement with the team.

Creating content using AI is not the future, it is today. TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts — AI content is becoming a trend on all platforms. And you? Are you just watching or creating it yourself?

The Shymkent Hub will host the AI Creator Challenge, a practical challenge to create content in trending formats using AI.

What will happen:

What happens if we ask AI to build a game in Unity without telling it where to click?

During this online lecture, Yaroslav Knyazev will demonstrate live how AI uses MCP to create objects, write code, run a scene, review the result, and correct errors. Participants will learn how MCP works, where it is useful, what its current limitations are, and what is needed to try it independently.

The lecture is designed for Unity developers, game studios, and professionals interested in AI and digital products.

Yaroslav Knyazev is a ROQED specialist and a Unity Certified Associate Programmer. ROQED develops digital education and industrial solutions using 3D, VR, and AI, including the ROQED Science and Mechanicum platforms.

Time: 17:00–18:30, Astana time

Format: Online

Over the past couple of years, AI has been introduced almost everywhere. Now the hype is subsiding and even skepticism towards technology is emerging, and people are tired of the word itself.

Therefore, at the Awara IT webinar, we want to shift the focus a little and talk about what actually works in HR.

Why 80/20? Because AI is more of an addition, rather than a solution to all problems.

Date: October 21st
Time: 16:00 (Almaty)

At the webinar:

• Let's look at which IT solutions will help increase employee engagement, motivation, and opportunities for development. Let's show some examples.
• Let's talk about how attitudes towards AI have changed recently and where it complements the skills of employees.
• Let's talk about the training and skills that employees need to work now.
• Let's also share our experience: what we tried to implement in our HR projects, where we got a good result, where we made a mistake, and what conclusions we drew.

For whom:

HRD, HR department heads, HRBP, L&D, and colleagues who are responsible for HR processes, employee engagement, and development.

What you will get after the webinar:

• the most demanded HR automation solutions in Kazakhstan in 2025-2026 using the example of Awara IT projects and lessons learned
• understanding where AI is really needed and where basic automation is sufficient;
• learn how to calculate ROI from using AI in HR.

We suggest not looking for where else to introduce new technologies, but first understand the task and build the main process.

The AI here is the very 20% that can enhance the other 80%.

Participation is free, registration is only required.
