A new educational program Level Up has been launched – a guide to the world of GameDev mainly for girls from the city of Kostanay.

What will you learn:
- Overview of the video game industry, processes and roles in game development;
- Fundamentals of game design, serious games and gamification, game engines;
- Creation of augmented and virtual reality;
- Create video games in Midjourney and Chat GPT.

Level Up is a program developed by GameLab KBTU teachers within the framework of the United Nations Children's Fund in Kazakhstan (UNICEF) program to support girls in STEAM (science, tech, engineering, art, math). The training will take place at the GameDev Center based on the Qostanay Hub

The main topic of the workshops is BERT4Rec, a modern method of recommendation systems. Learn how to put it into practice!

  The speaker is Alexander Petrov, a doctoral student at the University of Glasgow, founder of the startup E-Contenta, an expert with scientific and practical experience who has worked with such IT giants as Yandex and Amazon.
