Based on the results of receiving and selecting 131 applications, 78 IT schools and 174 courses were identified. For the subsequent selection process of potential students, the IT Schools Showcase was developed on the astanahub.com portal to create a “single window” where anyone can get acquainted with the schools and submit up to 5 applications for accredited courses from leading IT schools.

Key concepts

Quota / grant

Funding in the amount of up to 600,000 tenge, which will be received by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 18 to 45 years who have successfully passed the selection for training at an IT school accredited under the Tech Orda program.
If the cost of the course is up to 600,000 tenge, the tuition fee is paid in full within the framework of the program.
If the cost of the course exceeds 600,000 tenge, the additional amount is covered by the student independently.

Waiting list

Students who have successfully passed the selection, but have not received funding due to the limited number of Quotas issued to a certain Participant of the Program.
They can study at an IT school on other conditions, including for a fee, under an internal grant of the school, at a discount, etc.
If a student refuses to study, a student from the Waiting List can be transferred by the IT school to study under a quota / grant.
