Astana Hub, the largest International Technopark of IT startups in Central Asia, and TikTok, the leading platform for creating short-form videos, signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of Digital Bridge 2022, and today they launched an exclusive educational program for startups, TikTok StartUp Academy. The platform and the technopark share a commitment to innovation and a desire to help businesses. The Academy's objective is to assist startups in identifying new development opportunities, gaining unique knowledge from experts, and discovering the possibilities of the TikTok platform.
Representatives from Fintech, E-com, Games & Apps, Foodtech, Edtech, Entertainment, Health &Wellness, and other technology startups were invited to participate in the program. Applications were opened at the end of October, and due to the selection process, 218 startups were chosen to participate in the educational course. Webinars will take place from 31 October, and the first twenty participants who pass the exam will attend offline workshops in Astana on November 9 and 10.
«Our educational program is a natural continuation of the signed cooperation memorandum between Astana Hub and TikTok within the framework of Digital Bridge 2022. The program includes teams such as Documentolog, Mitwork, Aviata, EasyTap, iDos Games, and several other established and experienced startups in Kazakhstan. This demonstrates the market's great interest in developing marketing activities on the TikTok platform. I am confident that Astana Hub's partnership with TikTok will increase the visibility of Kazakhstan's IT ecosystem, which in turn will help attract investment and new IT companies to the country," said Magzhan Madiev, CEO of Astana Hub.
"As part of the TikTok StartUp Academy, we will bring entrepreneurs a unique experience that will enable them to gain new knowledge and reach new heights under the mentorship of top experts from TikTok and Astana Hub, while grants for the best participants will enable them to realize their bold ideas," said Anastasia Panina, CEO of Global Business Solutions, TikTok Eastern Europe.
