Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Musin visited the ARU named after. Zhubanova, where he got acquainted with the activities of the technopark at the university, and also held a meeting with the IT community of the region and students. During the meeting, issues of interaction between the Ministry, subordinate organizations and the university were discussed.

"The IT direction is a priority in the development strategy of our university. We have all the prerequisites to become a leader, a center of attraction and an IT hub for the entire western region. Training of IT personnel at the university has been conducted since 1999. 285 specialists are expected to graduate this year. There are the beginnings of good scientific developments and student startups. We are ready to become a regional hub in the IT sphere, to create a creative space for young people," said Laura Karabasova, Rector of the K. Zhubanov ARU.

As a result of the visit, agreements were reached to expand the activities of the international technopark of IT startups Astana Hub on the basis of the technopark of the NAO ARU named after K.Zhubanov. A memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed, creating the basis for holding events on the territory of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, dedicated to the popularization of technological entrepreneurship, providing access to educational programs of Astana Hub, as well as access to incubation and acceleration programs of the Foundation. The memorandum was signed by the rector of the ARU named after K. Zhubanova Laura Karabasova and Managing Director of Astana Hub Abai Absamet.
