This year, from 59,000 participants representing 111 countries and 3,000 universities, 142 teams have advanced through regional and national selection to the finals. Kazakhstan will be represented by teams from Nazarbayev University, the International University of Information Technology, Astana IT University, and Kazakh-British Technical University.

The event program includes the ICPC Challenge, sponsored by Huawei, and a unique blind-coding masterclass by JetBrains, featuring former world champions in sports programming, among other activities. The ICPC World Finals champions will be announced on September 19, after a five-hour competition focused on solving algorithmic problems using code with minimal errors and incorrect attempts.
