Astana Hub, together with MTS StartUp Hub, opens a set for the 5G incubation program for finalizing and testing new digital products

MTS PJSC (NYSE: MBT, MOEX: MTSS), a leading Russian company providing digital, media and telecommunications services, and the International Technopark of IT Startups "Astana Hub" announce the launch of a 5G incubation program for projects in the field of AR/VR technologies, holograms, XR platforms for communication and sharing content and other solutions that will work in the metaverse, as well as for projects in the field of unmanned transport and digital industry.


5G Incubation is an international program to refine and test new digital products using the advantages of 5G technology. Startups will have access to IT infrastructure for testing and developing solutions using 5G based on Astana Hub. MTS will provide expert and grant support.

Have time to apply for participation in the 5G incubation program by February 27, 2022 inclusive. Teams with a finished product or a product at the MVP stage are accepted. By becoming a participant, the startup will get access to laboratories, access to coworking based on Astana Hub, participation in industry events and the opportunity to demonstrate the project to business customers and MTS customers. 

Projects that will pass the testing and refinement stages can be launched in MTS 5G test zones deployed in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and at the production sites of MTS partners.

Solutions to optimize production processes and improve occupational safety using AR/VR.

Unmanned and robotic solutions.
Mobile unmanned solutions using ground-based (AGV) or flying vehicles (UAVs) that require data exchange with a cloud server.

Machine vision. 
Solutions that use machine vision at different production cycles, including data processing in the cloud.

Remote control of equipment.
Solutions for remote control of production equipment or transport that require minimal response time to commands coming from the control center.
