Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day to take place as part of UNESCAP conference

Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day - AI for ALL: Building a Generative Nation Together will be held as part of the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Digital Ministry of Kazakhstan. The event will provide a prominent platform to highlight Kazakhstan's advancements in digital technology.

The Asia-Pacific Conference, taking place from 3 to5 September, is a key global platform for discussions on digitalization, inclusion, and sustainable development. As part of the conference, Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day will offer a unique opportunity for tech companies, startups, and government organizations from Kazakhstan to showcase their cutting-edge digital solutions.

“Holding the Asia-Pacific Conference in Astana underscores Kazakhstan’s strategic role as a leader in digitalization and innovation. This conference will provide a platform to highlight our achievements and draw global attention to our digital initiatives. It will also foster the development of international partnerships, which will boost tech exports and support the country’s economic growth. A key outcome of the conference will be the adoption of the Astana Ministerial Declaration, further solidifying our position in the region,” said Zhaslan Madiyev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day will showcase innovative projects like SmartBridge (service showcase), Smart Data Ukimet (smart government data platform), and eOtinish. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the achievements of the largest innovation center in Central Asia, the international technology park Astana Hub.

The Asia-Pacific Conference brings together delegations from over 50 countries, including ministers of digitalization and tech, representatives from international organizations, the private sector, and civil society. The first two days of the conference will feature plenary sessions, side events, bilateral meetings between ministers, and the signing of memorandums and agreements.

The main goal of the event is to foster cooperation in digital technologies to achieve sustainable development and ensure equal access to digital resources for all countries in the region.

It is worth noting that all financial costs for organizing Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day are covered by sponsors – Kaspi.kz, Freedom Bank, and InDrive. This highlights the strong business interest in developing Kazakhstan’s digital potential.
