Astana Hub Participant, CerebraAI, Recognized as Top Global Startup by TechCrunch in the U.S.
CerebraAI, a Kazakhstani startup specializing in artificial intelligence and neuroradiology for automated stroke diagnosis, has been named one of the best global startups by TechCrunch in the United States. This significant achievement was marked by CerebraAI's participation in the world's largest startup competition, TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, as part of Startup Battlefield 200.
Each year, TechCrunch selects 200 startups from thousands of contenders worldwide to showcase on the global stage. This year was no exception, and CerebraAI proudly represents Kazakhstan at this prestigious event.
TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 is an event debuting the most innovative startups, revolutionary technologies, and discussions on key issues in the tech industry. CerebraAI will participate in this event taking place from September 19 to 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. For CerebraAI, this presents a significant opportunity to showcase its development and share its project originating from Kazakhstan.
"We intend to showcase our development and talk about a project from Kazakhstan (the first and only project selected for TechCrunch Disrupt from Kazakhstan). The Head of State recently set a task for the government to achieve an export volume of IT services up to $1 billion by 2026 and emphasized the development of the country's technological sphere. Considering the infrastructure work done for the development of the IT sector, we believe it is possible. However, currently, this appears to be an extremely challenging task due to legislative and bureaucratic constraints in our country," said Doszhan Zhusupov, Founder and CEO of CerebraAI.
CerebraAI develops artificial intelligence in neuroradiology, enabling automated diagnosis of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes. The project has gained recognition from organizations such as Medtronic APAC, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, StartUs, and EY. The startup's founder has also become part of the prestigious entrepreneur club StartX and successfully completed the StartX Summer 2023 acceleration program at Stanford University.
TechCrunch Disrupt and Startup Battlefield 200 are iconic events in the startup and technology world, where renowned companies like Dropbox, Mint, Cloudflare, Fitbit, Yammer, and many others made their debut.
