Kazakh startup 1Fit raises half a million dollars to scale in Russia

The service was valued at ten million dollars. The Russian fund TMT Investments invested $500,000 in the company with the possibility of an additional investment of $3 million at a $40 million valuation.

The founders of the startup plan to spend the raised money on marketing and business development.

- Our goal is to improve the product, increase its uniqueness. We plan to integrate 1Fit with gadgets worn by people involved in sports, such as smartwatches. This will enable the collection and analytics of data, on the basis of which our users will receive personalized recommendations on nutrition and training, - said Murat Alikhanov, CEO of the company.

1Fit is a single fitness subscription that allows you to use different gyms and different sports. This means that when buying one subscription, the user can change gyms at least every day. The company is a member of the international technopark Astana Hub.

To date, users of the application have access to 500 gyms in Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Shymkent. In addition, in September of this year, the company for the first time began cooperation with fitness centers in St. Petersburg: 75 gyms already work with the Kazakhstani service.
