The Award Ceremony was held within the framework of the plenary meeting of the Heads of Government of the EAEU member states.

Daryn Online Project was recognised as the Winner in the “EdTech” nomination.  

As the best in “MedTech” the nomination was declared Cerebra. 

The winner in the “FinTech” nomination was chosen Solva Company. 

The Winner in the nomination “Best CDO (Chief Digital Officer) of the Year” was declared Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan Yerbol Ospanov. 

The Winner in the category “Venture Capitalist” is Alim Khamitov, Most Ventures. 

The Flip.kz resource became the best in the “e-Commerce nomination”. 

Assem Nurgaliyeva became the best in the “Woman in Tech” nomination. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov awarded the Winner.

The Digital Almaty Awards has become a traditional Annual Award within the International Digital Forum “Digital Almaty”. For the first time, the Award was presented at the “Digital Almaty: Digital Future of the Global Economy” Forum in 2020, where 10 digital projects were presented, 8 of which are products of the best IT companies in Kazakhstan in the “IT Champions” category and 2 projects by startups under the Astana Hub brand.

Digital Almaty is a traditional dialogue platform for discussing the digital agenda, new strategies for digital transformation, and trends in digital technology. The forum has been held for the fifth time since 2018. The event is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Almaty City, Tech Garden and Astana Hub.
