The Winners of the Olympiad CPFED CodeGirls 2024 Enter the Kazakhstan National Team for EGOI 2024

The exciting final stage of the Sports Programming Championship for girls, CPFED CodeGirls 2024, has concluded. Organized by the Sports Programming Federation with support from the official partner of the championship, the international technology park of tech startups Astana Hub, the event saw the top performers secure their spots in the Kazakhstan national team for the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI) 2024.


This event was an important step towards promoting gender equality in computer science and preparing Kazakhstani girls to participate in national and international computer science Olympiads.

On June 14 and 15, Astana became the center of intellectual competitions as girls who had passed qualifying rounds from all over Kazakhstan competed in sports programming. The final stage was filled with excitement and impressive achievements. As a result of the intense competition, the four best participants were selected to join the Kazakhstan national team and represent the country at the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI) 2024.

Sports programming is an intellectual sport that involves solving algorithmic problems by implementing solutions in various programming languages.

According to the results of the CPFED CodeGirls 2024 Championship:

Third degree diplomas were awarded to:
- Baimukhambetova Aruzhan Kadyrkhanovna, 6th grade, Flagman School in Almaty
- Turganbayeva Tamila Erkenkyzy, 10th grade, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana
- Isaeva Anita Danilovna, 8th grade, Republican School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty
- Kasenova Arai, 11th grade, Haileybury Almaty School in Almaty

Second degree diplomas were awarded to:
- Bakhytzhan Asemai Mamaykyzy, 10th grade, Bilim-Innovation Lyceum, Kyzylorda region
- Nurkhayat Talgatkyzy, 10th grade, KEMEL BILIM boarding school, Aktobe region
- Baurzhankyzy Zhannur, 9th grade, Bilim-Innovation Lyceum, Kyzylorda region

The winner of the Championship was:
- Iskhakova Dayana Didarovna, 11th grade, Republican School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty

Iskhakova Dayana, Bakhytzhan Asemai, Talgatkyzy Nurkhayat, and Baurzhankyzy Zhannur will represent Kazakhstan at the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI) 2024, which will be held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, from July 21 to 27. The general partner of the Federation of Sports Programming, Freedom Holding Corp., is sponsoring the participation of the Kazakhstan national team in EGOI.

EGOI (European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics) is a prestigious competition aimed at increasing the interest of girls in computer science and follows the rules and format of the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). Each country is represented at EGOI by a team of four schoolgirls.

The international technology park of tech startups, Astana Hub, and Freedom Holding Corp. contribute to the development of the tech ecosystem in Kazakhstan and inspire young talents.
