Sacha Michaud, co-founder and co-owner of Spanish technology company Glovo held a workshop on venture capital investment for the Astana Hub community and met with participants of Silkway Accelerator, a partnership project of Astana Hub and Google for Startups.
Should an entrepreneur focus on the Kazakhstan market or create a product for a larger market? What are investors looking for in a business? What is Central Asia's place in the global delivery business? What three principles does Sacha Michaud adhere to in his work? These questions were of interest to the participants of the meeting.
Sacha Michaud, an entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in international online business, talked about venture capital investment in the field of IT, shared his personal experience, and answered all questions. He noted that Kazakhstan is a technologically advanced country, so it is possible that our country will become the main Glovo hub in Central Asia.
As a reminder, Astana Hub and Glovo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the development and support of IT startups at Digital Bridge 2022. The companies jointly launched an educational project consisting of free lectures and workshops on business development, startup development, marketing improvement, and business process administration.
