In 2021, 21 entrepreneurs made it to the final of the national stage of the competition. According to the decision of the jury, the winner in the nomination "Innovative startup" was a participant of the technopark - the company Cerebra.ai Ltd.

Cerebra is an artificial intelligence in the field of neuroradiology for the automated diagnosis of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. The project is successfully operating in 18 stroke centers in Kazakhstan. Cerebra is also included in the list of the ten most innovative projects in the world in the field of medical artificial intelligence according to the world leader in the field of healthcare technologies — Medtronic.

“It is very prestigious for every entrepreneur to receive any award and recognition from EY! The nomination in which we won - “The best innovative startup of the year” - is especially pleasant for us. But we are not relaxing, there is a lot of work ahead, because Cerebra is entering markets outside Kazakhstan. New challenges are waiting for us!”, - notes the founder of the startup Doszhan Zhusupov.

According to the organizers of the competition, the finalists were evaluated according to criteria such as entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, financial results of the company, growth dynamics, industry leadership, corporate social responsibility, etc.
