Astana Hub presented startups to investors from Saudi Arabia

The Elm Company delegation got acquainted with the work of the Astana Hub and studied a number of start-up projects.


Elm Company is a Saudi joint stock company owned by the Public Investment Division of the Saudi Ministry of Finance. Among the guests from Saudi Arabia were Hakim Abdulaziz Alrashid, Director of International Business, and Abdullah Saud Altounayan, Business Development Advisor, General Director of International Business of Elm Company.

Residents of Astana Hub - UvU Family and Cerebra presented their IT solutions to foreign guests. The meeting took place on September 27 with the support of the Kazakh Invest National Company.

UvU Family is an app that provides safe transportation for kids with drivers. The head of the company, Madiyar Toleugali, presented to the delegation a new format of work to attract investment.
Cerebra is a software that allows early detection of stroke and its causes using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Representatives of the company are interested in implementing their project in the Middle East market.

Also at the meeting, they discussed further plans for the development of cooperation and the search for opportunities to attract investment in Kazakhstani start-up projects. In the future, meetings with partners from Saudi Arabia will be held online on an ongoing basis.
