A charity hackathon was held in Astana Hub

On April 7-8 schoolchildren and students developed a digital tool to collect donations for the "Angels of Freedom" Foundation at the International Technopark Astana Hub.

The event was initiated by the NIS Valley School Club. Astana Hub acted as a co-organizer, and the hackathon was sponsored by Jusan Bank, the largest IT company EPAM and Shoreditch Restaurant.

38 teams applied to participate in the charity hackathon. Only 13 of them reached the final and developed their product. The jury selected the team of girls from Karaganda - MainLine, Habit Ant and C&DC - as winners.

The project "Angels of Freedom"  will continue to cooperate with some of the teams for the further implementation of their ideas and thanks the organizers, sponsors and participants of the event for their help.
