ProductCamp was held in Kazakhstan for the first time

On March 21, the first ProductCamp in Kazakhstan was held in the IT hub of Karaganda, where four speakers spoke.

In Russia, ProductCamp has been bringing together professionals in the field of digital technologies and innovations for the tenth year in a row. In Kazakhstan, however, it was held for the first time. It was organized in our country by Terricone Valley.

"We are engaged in the development and support of people in IT, Digital, product direction, programming, design and other areas of activity. In our IT hub, we create resources so that as many professionals and entrepreneurs as possible can get support and get pumped up in their field. So that working, learning and communicating with specialists in their field is not only useful but also fun", - said Andrey Karabanov, co-founder of Terricon Valley.

Four speakers made speeches on the topics:

Rustam Bayzhanov, Head of the Department of Informatization, State Services and Archives of Karaganda Region - "State IT Development. A look from the region."
Artyom Timofeev, Head of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Wooppay - "The Theory of Big MFS or How I Met Mobile Finance".

Dagar Davletov, CEO of Alem school - "Innovations in IT-education.
Ali Shaikhislam, co-founder of Okacto and managing manager of Meptek capital - "How to make 1.3 million downloads without investing in marketing."

"I talked about my own experience of coming into a product that's already launched. Primarily about how to work and value your team. I think this is relevant to both current product managers and those who are just about to launch a new product. Often a cool product idea crashes on an incoherent team. It was very unusual, a very large-scale event in principle. And very cool that the first in Kazakhstan it was held in Karaganda. I think this is a good start for the IT hub that is under construction and that will host even larger events in the future," shared Artem Timofeev's impressions.

"Product Camp is a breakthrough step in the life of Karaganda IT community. It is impossible even to evaluate such events, because the international level of the Camp gives our IT people an opportunity to improve their skills in a tremendous way. In the future we plan to increase the rate of development in this area, "- said Rustam Bayzhanov.

The event was held in online and offline formats with observance of all safety norms on quarantine measures.

The events in the IT hub will be held on a regular basis since April this year. Event announcements can be tracked on Terricon Valley's Telegram or Instagram.
