The infrastructure and educational base of "Abai IT-Valley" includes qualified teaching staff, classrooms equipped in accordance with modern standards (including a robotics laboratory and a coworking zone), graduates of the programs of the technopark "Astana Hub" and 5,000 students in 32 training programs. 

The main activities of the cluster "Abai IT-Valley": 

1) providing opportunities for training in advanced programs of the technopark "Astana Hub"; 

2) search, development and assistance to promising startups in the region; 

3) collaboration with interested government agencies, organizations and the business community in the development and practical application of advanced information and communication technologies. 

The implementation of these directions will create a full-fledged regional IT community and a single virtual space in the field of information and communication technologies. As part of the technical opening of "Abai IT-Valley" together with the technopark "Astana Hub", the first program "Teenagers" will be launched, which includes a 2-week course, the formation of a startup team and a program for the development of skills in prototyping and MVP (minimum viable product). The planned number of participants is more than 100 people. Also, in the near future, on the basis of the Abai IT-Valley cluster, it is planned to create a corporate seed investment fund, whose resources will be directed to the development of promising startup projects in the region. 

The technical opening of "Abai IT-Valley" will take place in Semey on April 12, 2022 at 15.00, in the conference hall of the main building of the A.Bokeikhanov University.
