Tech Schools Exhibition in Astana: Courses Available Within the Tech Orda Program

Astana Hub recently hosted an exhibition featuring 24 tech schools from Astana - participants in the Tech Orda program. More than 100 prospective students attended the event, taking the opportunity to explore the courses and specializations offered by the program, helping them make informed decisions about their educational paths.

In 2024, 77 Kazakhstani tech schools received accreditation under the Tech Orda program to train tech specialists, offering a total of 169 different courses. The program covers key areas in the IT sector, including web development, 3D design and 3D AR/VR applications, operating system development, cybersecurity, IoT, artificial intelligence and algorithms, mobile application development, as well as specialties like Big Data and GameDev.

"Tech Orda has intrigued me since last year. My brother, who studied in this program and specialized in Java, told me about it. Now that I’ve turned 18, I decided to apply immediately. I’m particularly interested in Golang development and aim to master this programming environment to start my professional career" said Yerasyl Kaiyrzhan, who visited the tech schools exhibition.

The workshop emphasized expert insights on selecting specializations in information technology. Participants received valuable advice and recommendations from leading specialists, helping them navigate the broad range of tech courses and programs available.

"Tech Orda offers a unique opportunity. We have many inspiring examples of motivated Kazakhstanis who have made significant changes in their lives by quickly mastering a tech profession and discovering new potential within themselves. All interested citizens of Kazakhstan, aged 18 to 45, can apply independently and choose up to five accredited courses, either from one school or from multiple schools. If a candidate receives a grant from several schools, they will need to select just one accredited course" said Anarbek Utegulov, Director of the Astana Hub Funding Programs Office.

An exhibition also took place in Almaty, where 26 tech schools showcased their courses and answered questions from potential students. During the event, a round table discussion was held, bringing together tech school representatives to talk about current trends and challenges in tech education, and to share their experiences.

The Tech Orda program, launched by the MDDIAI and managed by Astana Hub, offers a unique opportunity for Kazakhstanis to learn tech professions free of charge. Applications for training are open until July 31 on the astanahub.com platform.
