The Tamyr Platform accelerator has started accepting applications for social startups in Central Asia with grants from 5 to 10 million tenge

The Tamyr Platform accelerator, with the support of the EA Charity Foundation, announced the start of accepting applications for teams of social startups from Kazakhstan and Central Asia to participate in an educational program with a total grant fund of 130 million tenge. Recruitment of candidates will take place from July 21 to September 1, 2025.

Tamyr Platform is a non–profit acceleration program from EA Charity, the corporate charitable foundation of EA Group Holding, based in Kazakhstan. The program aims to develop an ecosystem of social entrepreneurship in Central Asia and create conditions for the sustainable growth of initiatives in the fields of education, culture, medicine, ecology and sustainable development. The initiative is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs focused on sustainable changes in society.

In the first stream of the accelerator, it is planned to select up to 25 projects that will be able to receive grant financing from 5 to 10 million tenge. The total grant fund of Tamyr Platform is 130 million tenge. Grants will be provided in stages with mandatory interim and final reporting. Applications for participation in the accelerator are accepted from social entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

In addition to financial support, the program participants will undergo a one-week full-time residence in Almaty and will be able to study with leading experts. The accelerator provides educational modules on legal issues, fundraising, marketing, team building and financial planning. Mentoring support will be provided by top managers of EA Group Holding, EA Charity Fund, Tamyr Platform curators, foundation partners and experts from the NGO sector. The program also includes a post—program phase - participants will retain access to the mentoring network and the possibility of further cooperation with the foundation.

The selection of participants will take place in two stages: an online application through the official website of the platform, as well as an interview with the expert commission. During the training, participants will have to defend their projects.

"Tamyr Platform is not just a grant competition. Our goal is to create an infrastructure for the growth of social leaders in the region. It is important for us not only to help at the start, but also to build sustainable cooperation with those who can really change the region for the better. We see great potential in the young entrepreneurs of Central Asia – people who are ready to take responsibility for solving social problems. Tamyr Platform will become not just a source of financing for them, but a real ecosystem of development," said Aidar Buribayev, Director of EA Charity Fund.

To participate in the accelerator, startups must meet the following criteria:

- the presence of a measurable social effect;

- the team's willingness to implement and report;

- the potential for scaling the project;

- innovative approach to solving social problems.

Interested participants can submit their applications from July 21 to September 1, 2025 through the official website of the Tamyr Platform. The platform reflects the EA Charity Fund's commitment to contribute to addressing the social challenges of Central Asia by supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. The program is focused on creating long-term impact rather than one-time assistance.
